Our whole team lives in a community that is relatively small, and honestly is not very technically savvy. We’ve found explaining our jobs takes putting it into the simplistic format just so that they know what we do all day. **My son, just thinks we play games, watch videos and sit at the computer all day. He’s not necessarily wrong, but less games, more google!**
In all honestly, being a virtual assistant is truly someone who can help run, manage, market your business, but does not work at the same location as the business.
Our job varies at any given second, as an example today: we’ve contacted clients, checked payments and updated a few spreadsheets for one client. For another client, we had a first meeting where we talked about building a new website, what she needs to do to work towards that, and what tools we would use. Also, we’ve got 2 summits that we are preparing for (think podcast, but with 10-30 speakers that go live all within a week or two of each other), this means creating graphics, updating websites, and spreadsheets acting as a project manager to make sure we are ready for launch. Although we have a list of our services, it is by no means a complete or extensive list.
Everything we do is customized and changes depending upon the client. Even down to the tools we use. There are tools and resouces we recommend and will even promote from time to time, see our resources here. More often then not by the time we’ve gotten the client, we are using the tools someone in their history recommended, and we then have to adapt and learn to use a new tool, making sure that it’s working correctly.
Projects Made Simple was started with one goal, help our clients thrive. We love getting the emails that say, “Hey – I just had # sign up! What’s next…” Or even the “this isn’t working, what would you suggest”. Because we get to think outside the box. We get to think creatively, while making sure that it’s the simpliest means to a gratifying end.
We really are here just to help you, your business and your next idea thrive.
