Help us troubleshoot!

Can you believe it’s almost March?  Our snow is finally melting (been on the ground since December 8th!) So glad to see plants starting to bloom.

I wish I was writing to just talk about the weather, but there has been a serious influx of 2 issues that have come to our attention over the last month.

#1 If you have a contact form on your website, can you please TEST IT for yourself, or have a friend do it? You need to be a part of this, as you need to make sure you are receiving that test!

We have come across 3 clients who are not RECEIVING their forms, and after many hours with Godaddy, Hostgator, Gravity Forms and support forums there are NO simple solutions here. Hosting companies have started blocking emails coming from your WordPress sites.  If you do not receive the email (as if a client was trying to contact you) please send me an email, the page of the form not working and we will discuss options with you depending upon the form setup and hosting company.

#2 If you have MULTIPLE WordPress websites on your hosting plan, and they are out of date or not being used- we need to be made aware of these sites!

Even an unused site sitting there is a danger to your CURRENT site, out of date plugins and themes are how clients are getting malware on their hosting. If you are unsure please ask us to check, and we will look into your hosting and make sure you stay secure.  We offer all of our clients by their choice a monthly or quarterly update service that takes about 15 minutes to complete per site. However, if your site is infected by not being updated it can take 4-5 hours to clean it up.

Testimonials

Thank you again for your quick and easy way of just doing what needs to be done! I’m so grateful.  It feels like I’m being so impulsive and just throwing stuff up when it feels right.  It’s working really well (6 sign ups in an hour) and you are right there with me. I really appreciate it. Lisa Mitchell
